Preparing students for an English exam requires more than practising exam papers. This practical course explores effective strategies to help learners perform more confidently and successfully in the B2 First and C1 advanced exams.

Practical information:

The Exam Strategies course consists of 6 × 2-hour sessions, held on Fridays.
The course is designed for teachers working or hoping to work with learners preparing for B2 and C1 exams.
Sessions combine practical ideas, classroom activities and opportunities to share and discuss teaching approaches.
12 hours in total.

Steps to enrol on a CELTA course:

1. Complete the application form

The first step is to download the application form, complete it, and return it by email. Make sure you select the course you want to do.

2. Attend a short interview

We will invite you to a short interview by phone or Zoom and tell you all about your course. You will get the opportunity to ask questions before you make the final decision.

3. Offer of a place

After the interview, we will send you an offer of a place by email for your course and ask you to pay a deposit to secure your place.

4. Confirmation of a place

We will confirm your place on the course and give you access to the CELTA preparation course. More details will follow before you start your course.
